GAC manufacture/reactivation
equipments
Activated carbon, as a functional carbon material with strong adsorption capacity, is currently mainly used in food and beverage, medicine, water treatment, and chemical industry and other fields. The application structure of activated carbon at home and abroad is generally consistent, with water treatment and food and beverage being the two main application areas of activated carbon.
Shangding Environmental Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. is committed to environmental protection and environmental engineering industry. The main business areas include activated carbon manufacturing (carbonization/activation), activated carbon regeneration, activated carbon application (biological fermentation product decolorization, wastewater treatment, etc.), sludge pyrolysis and incineration, mineral roasting, electronic waste pyrolysis and recycling, comprehensive utilization of biomass resources, etc., with more than 30 corresponding patents and more than 80 sets of engineering experience.
Shangding Environment has set up a 1200 square meter office area in the bustling Xingyao Tiandi Business Center in the city center. The High Tech Zone Production and Manufacturing Center covers an area of 68 acres, with a newly built 25,000 square meter factory and 4000 square meter office buildings. Mainly engaged in the research and industrialization production of high-end products in multiple hearth furnaces and process systems, as well as product design and production in industries such as environmental protection, food, petrochemical, chemical, sulfuric acid, etc. It includes 200 sets of processing and testing equipment, including CNC plasma cutting machines, laser cutting machines, shearing machines, automatic welding machines, four roll rolling machines, cranes, welding robots, testing instruments, etc., with an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons.
Applies two types of equipment, multiple hearth furnaces and rotary kilns, in the field of activated carbon manufacturing/regeneration. From a technical performance perspective, when the equipment is in the optimal operating condition, both multiple hearth furnaces and rotary kilns can complete the regeneration treatment of saturated activated carbon and the manufacturing requirements of activated carbon. However, each type of equipment has its own advantages and disadvantages. Taking into account factors such as investment amount, floor area, fuel consumption, process regulation ability, controllable performance of equipment, severity of corrosive slag, and maintenance, there are still significant differences in cost-effectiveness between the two. Different process flows are designed according to the different needs of customers, and a more suitable solution is selected.

Activated carbon activation (manufacturing/regeneration)
The activated carbon activation process is to blow an appropriate amount of steam to remove the carbonized matter in the activated carbon pores during the carbonization process and restore the activated carbon activity. H2O+C→H2+CO
Multiple hearth furnace activation
Multiple hearth furnace activated carbon activation process
Activated carbon enters the dewatering screw from the bottom of the regeneration high-level tank, and is dehydrated by the dewatering screw conveyor (controlling the feeding speed) before being sent to the multiple hearth furnace. Driven by the central axis, the rake arm and rake teeth can continuously flip the carbon material on the furnace bed, layer by layer falling off and being heated and activated by water vapor reaction. After activation, it is discharged into the quenching tank from the bottom of the multiple hearth furnace.
Rotary kiln activation
Rotary kiln activated carbon activation process
First, use natural gas burner to burn in the combustion chamber and heat the rotating cylinder evenly. The material is fed into the rotary drum through a quantitative feeder, and continuously moves forward through the rotation and inclination of the drum. During the movement, the heated cylinder transfers heat to the material, causing the temperature of the material to rise. The activated product is discharged from the tail in a high-temperature state.
